The Hand Hammered Series of metal snare drums feature a 1mm thick steel shell with a plated finish.

Each shell is hammered entirely by hand to create the warmer, lower tone, synonymous with hammered shells. This lower fundamental tone pitches hammered snare drums between wood and flat metal.   

During the hammering process extra care is taken to avoid hammering around the seating of the lugs and the throw-off to ensure that they fix flush to the shell. Each Hand Hammered snare drum is fitted with Natal ‘sun’ logo Double Lugs, the Tri-Throw throw-off, Tru-Tune tension rods, 2.3mm chrome hoops, Natal snare wire & ribbons and Aquarian heads.

There are an array of options available in the Hand Hammered series: Copper, Dark Copper, Dark Bronze, Old Bronze, Chrome and Nickel with sizes ranging over: 10", 12", 13" and 14" diameter, with 5.5" and 6.5" depths.
