Steve Barney

Steve Barney doesn’t just play for big names, he’s a big name player himself with a varied and impressive array of artists in his portfolio. Over the years he has worked with Jeff Beck, Mike and The Mechanics, Hotei, Sugababes, The Wanted, Kelis, Eagle-Eye Cherry but is probably best known for touring with Anastacia and Annie Lennox.

His studio highlights include playing on Jeff Beck’s Grammy award-winning instrumental Plan B and Will Young’s UK number one - Leave Right Now. Perhaps Barney’s biggest accolade was performing with Eurythmics legend, Annie Lennox at London’s Live 8 concert to an audience of 200,000 people at Hyde Park.
